Reader - But first, I have a question...
If you answered "yes" - I'm super proud of you! That's a really great place to be. Even if you answered this way, I encourage you to keep reading. You might be able to learn something new and continue to do even better, which I'm here to help you do. If you said "no" or "I have no idea" I'll start by saying - I see you, I feel you, and it's totally okay! I've been there before. Managing your health/wellness/fitness/nutrition is a skill that takes time, attention, patience, and the intention to always keep learning and growing and doing your best to do better. It can also be incredibly hard, overwhelming and confusing to weed out all the noise online and on social media to understand what you should really be doing or paying attention to. I spent some time consolidating researched-baked information and putting together a challenge that's going to help you eat adequate protein so that you can reach your goals, feel full, satisfied and energized, and finally feel good about the decisions you make and confident in your skin. That being said... I’m excited to invite you to join me for a Protein-Packed Breakfast Challenge for the next two weeks! You're probably wondering - "Why focus on protein at breakfast?" Wellllllll, getting a solid amount of protein in first thing in the morning can set you up for success throughout the day. Here’s why:
So, what’s the Challenge? For the next two weeks, I’m challenging you to consume 25% of your daily recommended protein intake at breakfast. If you’re not sure what that looks like, don’t worry! I’ve put together a comprehensive guide that explains:
As always, let me know if you have any questions or need help! I'm the most active on Instagram, so shoot me a DM here. Remember - just like everything in health and wellness, this is about creating healthy habits that actually stick, so focus on showing up consistently and imperfectly. That means you don't need to make a big, perfect, meal for every breakfast. Just do what you can with what you have on hand in the time that you're given (although I will say that preparation or having ingredients on hand is super helpful). To give you an example of what this looks like: this morning, I only had a few minutes to make breakfast between yoga and meetings, so I threw 1.5 scoops of protein powder, some frozen cauliflower, frozen avocado, frozen blueberries and some water in a blender, topped it with a sprinkle of granola, and had a quick and easy breakfast with 36g of protein in just a few minutes! Starting your day with a filling and nutritious meal can have huuuuuge, positive impacts on the rest of your day, so I challenge you to participate. Let's do it together! 💕 Morgan |
